Study Tour Bursaries

Study Tour Bursaries provide funding to enable teachers to take part in the International Study Tour and support the GA and the ISIG in meeting the Interest Group’s four key aims. You will be required to contribute to the international dimension of the GA's work, through publications and curriculum-related activities following your return.

1. Please explain why you want to take part in the GA Study Tour outlining details of your intended outcomes. You should refer to the International Special Interest Group's aims and include proposed curriculum-related activities (e.g. lesson ideas and activities) and potential contributions to GA publications resulting from the Tour. In addition you should include details of how you will disseminate the knowledge gained within your school and to the wider geographical community.

Examples of how you might achieve this include presenting a session at a GA conference, spreading good practice through CPD sessions, drawing together a collection of artefacts for class use, preparing teaching materials for yourself and others or developing your existing links with overseas schools.
