A layered work: beneath the glass Brainard has put together the cover from &#8220;C&#8221; Magazine 1: 6 overwhich he has painstakenly painted the teeth in each mouth, and a photobooth strip of self-portraits with overpainted backgrounds. On top of the glass, he has affixed a rose decal and the raised plastic &#8220;Merry Christmas&#8221; lettering. The cheap original frame has chipped and oxidized a bit, and there is evidence of some dampstaining to the photostrip and background paper. However, these issues do not detract from the work as a whole.<BR />$5500
