Call for Project Presentations

The presentation of EMC members’ activities isan important partof the EMC Annual conference, therefore we hereby offer you the possibility to share your experience and projects with the EMC, its members and all participants of the European Forum on Music in Bern.

Topic

Your project should reflect the overall subject of the ForumMusic and Politics: a shared responsibilityand should demonstrate how music contributes significantly to the political and social development of peaceful and integrative European societies. Your proposed projects can be of very diverse nature:

  • Do you have a successful lobby/advocacy initiative which you would like to share?
  • Do you have an example how the relation of music and politics works in your country – is there a real shared responsibility?
  • What political frameworks are in place for the full potential of music for a diverse and cohesive Europe to be reached?
  • The slogan ‘unity & diversity’ is used by both the European Union and Switzerland. What does this look like in practice?

We invite EMC members to propose inspiring and innovative projects for presentation, which can serve as exemplary modelswhich can be applied in other organisations. The proposed project may also be organised by one of your members.
