GOAL: STRESSED COHESIVE ORGANIZATION OF THE VARIOUS PROHIBITION GROUPS AND INTENSE LOBBYING OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AGAINST LIQUOR.

GOAL: TO PROMOTE TOTAL ABSTINENCE FROM ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND PUT LIQUOR DEALERS OUT OF BUSINESS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF REDUCING CRIME, POVERTY AND IMMORALITY.

GOAL: THE RIGHT FOR WOMEN TO VOTE.

GOAL: TO SECURE VOTING AND POLITICAL RIGHTS FOR WOMEN ON THE SAME TERMS AS MEN, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO HOLD POLITICAL OFFICE AND SERVE ON JURIES.

GOAL: PUBLISH AND CIRCULATE INFORMATION AGAINST WOMAN SUFFRAGE AND TO APPEAL TO THE “LARGE MAJORITY OF THINKING WOMEN” OPPOSED TO FEMALE VOTING RIGHTS IN TEXAS.

GOA: PURSUED LEGISLATION TO SAFEGUARD PUBLIC HEALTH, PROVIDE CARE FOR DEPENDENT AND DELINQUENT CHILDREN, IMPROVE THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM, AND PROTECT WORKING WOMEN.

GOAL: STRIVED FOR IMPROVEMENTS IN EDUCATION, HOME LIFE, PUBLIC AFFAIRS, AND BETTER WORKING CONDITIONS FOR AFRICAN-AMERICAN WOMEN.

GOAL: SHORTER WORKING HOURS, HIGHER WAGES, SAFER WORKING CONDITIONS, AND GREATER INDEPENDENCE- “COMPANY TOWNS.”

GOAL: PROMOTED EQUAL RIGHTS FOR THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN

GOAL: PROMOTE THE SALE OF LIQUOR OR WETCOUNTIES. THEY OPPOSED THE ADOPTION OF THE POLL-TAX AMENDMENT IN 1902, AND SUPPORTED A BILL THAT PROVIDED FOR A MANDATORY TWO-YEAR PERIOD BETWEEN LOCAL-OPTION ELECTIONS.

GOAL: PROMOTED THE RIGHTFORINDIVIDUALCOUNTIES, MUNICIPALITIES, AND PRECINCTS THE POWER TO BAN ALCOHOL.
