The National Red Cross is in desperate need of distribution centers for food and water in Ballard, McCracken, Daviess, Caldwell, Henderson counties. CEOC requests for JTF/UAC establish the points of distribution. The PODs in McCracken and Daviess county will require 54 personnel to support. The other PODs will require 30 pax.

The American Red Cross is requesting transportation support. The Red Cross is attempting to transport both personnel and supplies between staging areas in Louisville and the RECCS that have been established at Hopkinsville, Owensboro and Paducah. These locations will provide shelter and emergency services to the evacuees. The American Red Cross requests the state assist with the transportation of these goods (approximately 50 people, 30 shrink-wrapped pallets of supplies) to these three locations. Goods need to be moved as soon as possible.
