SHIP Background:

Shun Hing Internship Programme (SHIP) is part of the community relations programme of Shun Hing Group in education, comprising of lectures, on-the-job training, review forums, event organization and presentation session. SHIP, an integral component of the students' journey from studies to work, provides on-the-job training to non-final-year undergraduates and matriculated students in Hong Kong. In the past 14years, more than 200 students had undergone the journey of SHIP. SHIP mentors, being experienced staff members from Shun Hing Group, will provide guidance to the interns. SHIP mentors believe that the provision of comprehensive education and training to the younger generation is essential for building a prosperous society and indispensable to the development of Hong Kong.

Title:Summer Intern

Main Responsibilities

Summer Interns will be assigned, according to their strengths and attributes, to work in one of the Group companies, supporting Sales & Marketing, Human Resources & Training, Finance & Accounting, Logistics, Engineering or other office support functions.

Working Hours:

Normal Working Hour: Mon - Fri: 0900 – 1800

Duration:

1June to 31 July2018

(Subject to the availability of Summer Interns, the internship programme may be extended.)

Requirement:

  1. Undergraduates of local universities – Completed Year 2 studies (non-final-year students)
  2. Students of tertiary institutions (including Degree/Sub-degree Programme)
  3. Students apart from the abovementioned are also welcome (subject to the requisition requirement from Group companies)
  4. GPA - 3 or above (to be converted with 4 as maximum if applicable)
  5. Applicants must be outgoing with good communication and inter-personal skills
  6. Cantonese speaker
  7. Available for interview in HK during March to May, and also the whole period of internship (i.e. June to July)

Remuneration:

Allowance: $45 per hourincluding meal break
