General informationabout Incentra SA
Incentra SA was founded in 1967 and operates as a cooperative society. Members are shipowners, shipmanagers and rig companies. The operation is based on participation from the members through various committees. Incentra handlesapprox. 40framework agreements on behalf of its approx. 40 members and their subsidiary companies. Agreements are preferably made with original makers/suppliers of goods and services for operation and maintenance of vessels.Today’s members operates more than 730vessels/rigs and a newbuilding portfolio of more than 50 vessels. Total turnover in the agreements is approx. NOK 2 bill.
Incentra’s administration works closely with the members and suppliers in order to obtain optimal terms andconditions at a minimum of cost for the individual member. The organisation is selective in choosing product areas. Each framework agreement is a result of thorough research and evaluation of each supplier’s ability to comply with the quality standards required by the members.A close co-operation and open communication builds good and long term relations for both members and suppliers.
On behalf of members, Incentra is performing HSEQ audits of all the suppliers.
Your purpose as a supplier to Incentra:
Incentra’s members areship owners and management companies.Suppliers will have to apply to become a supplier to the Incentra group of companies.
The decision on which suppliers/product areas Incentra SA is to focus on is decided by the members of organisation. This is considered at the council meeting in the first week of September each year. If the Incentra members find it interesting to have an agreement with a supplier, the supplier will be invited in for negotiations.
All agreements must be approved by the board of Incentra.
The application to become a supplier to Incentra should include the following:
- short general information about the company structure, main products / product areas,
key figures, representation and logistics
- exisiting customers among the Incentra members
- turnover, including specification of existing and potential turnover towards the Incentra
members
In order for the application to be considered at member council, it must be submitted to the Incentra administration by the end of May within the same year.
