Roy E. McKinney, Director of the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, and James Pease, Special Agent Supervisor of the MDEA’s Mid-Coast Regional Task Force Office serving Waldo, Knox, Lincoln and Sagadahoc Counties, announced the arrest of

Kristen Staples (25), of Rockland for 3 counts of Trafficking Hydrocodone and Suboxone class B.

Dean Feltis (42), of Warren for Trafficking Oxycontin class B

Shelley Landers (40) of Warren for Trafficking Oxycontin class B

Holly Young (29), of Camden for Aggravated Trafficking Oxycodone class A

June Robbins (50), of Camden for Trafficking Oxycodone class B

On 1/28/2010 Agents from MDEA, and Rockland Police Department executed a search w arrant at the residence of Kristen Staples (25) in Rockland. The warrant was executed after a month long investigation into Staples selling Suboxone and Hydrocodone. Agents seized over 60 Hydrocodone pills and 33 Suboxone pills and other evidence of drug trafficking. Staples was arrested a the search warrant and was charged with 1 Count of Trafficking Hydrocodone and 2 counts of Trafficking Suboxone. Staples was bailed from her residence. This case was investigated by MDEA, Knox S.O. and Rockland Police Department.

On 1/29/2010 Agents from MDEA, Waldoboro Police, Knox S.O. and State Police executed a search warrant at the residence of Dean Feltis (42) and Shelley Landers (40) of Warren after a several month long investigation into them selling a variety of illegal drugs. Agents seized about $1800 in cash and other evidence of drug trafficking. Landers was arrested at the residence and charged with Trafficking Oxycodone class B. Feltis was arrested from the residence and charged with Trafficking Oxycodone class B. The investigation that led to the arrests was conducted by MDEA, Waldoboro P.D. and Knox S.O.

On 2/2/09 MDEA, Knox S.O. and Camden Police Department executed two search warrants in the Town of Camden. The warrants were executed at the residences of Holly Young (29) and her mother June Robbins (50). Both subjects had been under investigation for several months by Camden P.D. and MDEA for selling Oxycodone pills. Agents seized 114 Oxycodone pills and other evidence of drug trafficking. We seized 44 Oxycodone pills from Young at her residence. Young was charged with Aggravated Trafficking Oxycodone class A, because her illegal drug transactions were taking place within 1000 feet of the Camden Middle School. Robbins was charged with Trafficking Oxycodone class B.

Only the Young and Robbins cases were connected.

Feltis, Young, and Landers were taken to the Knox County Jail and have all made bail since. Robbins and Staples were bailed from there residences.
