Pittsburg High School

AP Calculus BC
Summer Homework

This is a summer assignment for those taking AP Calculus BC and it will be due on the first day of school. The assignment will be part of the regular Homework grade. Late work will receive 50% partial credit at most. Not turning in the assignment will earn a zero. There are two assignment types to select from. Please complete the appropriate assignment only! If you have any questions about the homework, do not hesitate to email me at

The Course is aimed for students who have completed AP Calculus AB only.
The purpose of the assignment is to expedite the review of previously covered material so that more time will be available in class to introduce and master new topics. The summer assignment consists of practice problems that will go towards your homework grade.

Please follow all directions. In order to receive credit, each question must be justified completely. Collaboration with other students might be helpful in completing the assignment, but the final work must ultimately be done individually.

Enjoy your vacation! I look forward to working with you in the fall.
