MOST WANTED NOTORIOUS GANGSTER OF WESTERN U.P. NABBED
AATS of South East District has arrested a most wanted gangster of Western U.P. namely Aslam @ Pradhan. He is previously involved in many heinous cases like Murder, Attempt to Murder, Gangster Act, Gunda Act, Riots and Robberies. He is absconding and wanted in two cases of daring robberies committed in the area of P.S. Prikhshitgarh, Meerut (UP).

- One Country made Pistol with four live cartridges.

- One Motor Cycle Bajaj Pulsar Black stolen from Sangam Vihar, Delhi.
- One Motor Cylce Hero Honda Splendor stolen from New Usman Pur Delhi
- One Motor Cycle Bajaj Pulsar Red stolen from Ambedkar Nagar, Delhi.
NAME AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED.
Aslam S/o Jamil R/o Village Jasora, Aged 28 Years, P.S. Mundali, Tehsil Meerut, District Meerut (UP).
Since he came out from Jail in October 2011 he and his gang members have looted more than 20 big trucks on the point of fire arms.

INFORMATION/OPERATION:
Information was received by the team of Inspector Rajesh Kumar, Incharge Anti Auto Theft Squad, South East District about a notorious gangster of Western UP namely Aslam @ Pradhan who has been previously involved in many incidents of Attempt to Murder, Murder, Riots, Robberies, Arms Act. And Motor Vehicle Theft. In this regard information was developed and intelligence about the criminal was collected and his hideouts were located and checked and sources were deployed to collect his latest activities. On 11.03.12, specific information was received to SI Ajai Kumar Yadav of AATS, South East Distt. that the gangster Aslam @ Pradhan will come in a Silver Colour Indigo Car No. UP-16AD-1060 at Mathura Road, Near AaliGaon Red Light, in the area of PS. SaritaVihar, Delhi.
On this information, a raiding party under the supervision of Inspr. Rajesh Kumar, consisting of SI Ajai Kumar Yadav, HC. Parveer, HC Yashvir Singh, Const. Vipin Tyagi and Const. Parvesh with overall supervision of Sh. V.K. Kalia, ACP/Ops., South East Distt. was constituted and a trap was laid near Aali Gaon Red Light, at Mathura Road. At about 06.45 PM, one Indigo Car came from Aali Gaon side towards Mathura Road bearing No. UP-16AD-1060 which was identified by the source as to be of Aslam was intercepted by Police party. One person who was driving the car was apprehended and he told his name as Aslam S/o Jamil R/o Village Jasora, Aged 28 Years, P.S. Mundali, Tehsil Meerut, District Meerut (UP). On enquiry and interrogation he made disclosure about his associates and revealed that he is also wanted in many cases of Uttar Pradesh. In pursuance to his disclosure and his pointing out he got recovered one loaded country made pistol with three live cartridges from his instance. On this regard a case FIR No. 81/12 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered at PS. Sarita Vihar. Further investigation is going on.
Staff involved in the good work is being rewarded suitably.

MASSIVE CRACKDOWN AGAINST BOOTLEGGING,DESPERATE BOOTLEGGER APPREHENDED, 39 CARTOONS OF ILLICIT LIQUOR RECOVERED: VEHICLE OPEL ASTRA CAR CARRYING THE LIQUOR SEIZED

- The accused is previously involved in the cases of same modus operandi.
With the arrest ofone desperate Bootleggernamely Arun Yadav s/o Ishwar Yadav r/o Vill. & PS Balhar, Distt. Bhagal Pur, Bihar aged 27 years; staff of PS Karawal Nagar of North-East District has recovered 1872 quarters of illicit liquor contained in 39 cartoons. The vehicle car No. DL-1CF-2937 (Opel Astra) used in the crime also seized.
TEAM & INCIDENT: -
There are numerous complaints of illicit selling of liquor in the various parts of North East Distt. In various public meetings, the residents raised their concerns over this and associated crime.To deal with the menace and to have a crackdown over these antisocial and criminal elements, a massive drive was launched in the Distt. A crack cum raiding team was constituted in each Police Station to conduct raids and apprehends these criminals.As a result of this special drive, these special teams succeeded in busting various cartel and bootleggers who are selling contrabands.
On the night of 11/12.03.12, information was received to the staff of PS Karawal Nagar that a red colour Opel Astra car will come from Lal Bagh Mandi side in the area of PS Karawal Nagar for disposal of illicit liquor. On this information, the team comprising Ct. Rajeev and Ct. Jagmohan swung into action and started checking on toll tax Lal Bagh by putting barricades. At about 12:40 AM, one red colour car bearing No. DL-1CF-2937 (Opel Astra) was seen coming from Lal Bagh side which was signaled to stop, but the car driver tried to flee from the spot after seeing the police. However, he was overpowered by the above mentioned staff. The car was checked and total 1872 quarters of illicit liquor having sticker “SANTRA GRAIN BASED SPICED COUNTRY SPRIT” for sale in Haryana only, contained in 39 cartoons were recovered. Accused who was driving the vehicle namely Arun Yadav s/o Ishwar Yadav r/o Vill. & PS Balhar, Distt. Bhagal Pur, Bihar, aged 27 years was arrested accordingly.
INTERROGATION & EXAMINATION:-
On his sustained examination, he disclosed that earlier he is doing work in a wine godown namely Ashok Baliyan company in Sonipat, Haryana. To earn quick money, He takes delivery of the liquor from one person namely Anmol, who is also working in the same godown and used to give the delivery to a person namely Tinku in Loni, UP.
RECOVERY:-
- 1872 quarters of illicit liquor contained in 39 cartoons.
- Vehicle used in the crime car No. DL-1CF-2937.

- FIR No. 70/12 u/s 33/10/10 Delhi Ex. Act PS Karawal Nagar.
PROFILE:-
- Arun Yadav s/o Ishwer Yadav, permanent address is Vill. & PS Balhar, Distt. Bhagal Pur, Bihar. Accused presently residing at L-1, Ashok Baliyan Company, Mohan Nagar, Sonipat, Haryana. Arun Yadav is previously involved in two cases of Excise act in year 2010.
Further investigation is in progress to crack down the entire chain.

WANTED CRIMINAL SHAMMIM @ GOONGA ARRESTED ALONG WITH HIS ACCOMPLICE : PLAN OF ROBBING A BUSINESSMAN IN SAKET FOILED AND RECOVERED AN AUTOMATIC ENGLISH PISTOL.
With the arrest of two accused namely Shamim @ Goonga(aged 28 years) r/o 1678/20, ‘I’ Block, Sangam Vihar, New Delhi and Nawab @ Chunnu(aged 21 years) r/o K-1695/19, Sangam Vihar, New Delhi, staff of PS Saket, South Districthas foiled a plan of robbing a businessman in the area of Saket. Both accused persons were also wanted in an attempt to murder case reported at PS Sangam Vihar in which Goonga had shot one Sonu during gang rivalry feud. An automatic English pistol and a knife recovered from their possession.
INCIDENT:
On 16.01.12, accused Goonga, a hardened criminalpreviously involved in more than 30 cases of murder, attempt to murder, body offences, thefts, robbery etc. indulged in a brawl with the other criminals and shot fire at one Prabhakar Thakur @ Sonu r/o Sangam Vihar at his back when he did not budge to his demands and supremacy in the area. Thereafter, he threatened to kill other members of the rival group who did not accept his command in the area. In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 17 u/s 307/506/34 and 27 Arms Act PS Sangam Vihar was registered. He alongwith his close associate Nawab @ Chunnu absconded to Gujrat after this crime. He was suspected to be involved in many other cases of robberies and police of South East and other districts was continuously chasing him.
TEAM & ARREST:
A team of PS Saket consisting of SI Porsun, Paramjeet, ASI Anand, HCs Suresh, Randhawa, Mukesh, Asgar and Ct. Umesh under the supervision of Inspr. Rajender Singh, SHO/Saket and Sh. Manishi Chandra, ACP/Hauz Khas was formed to look for Goonga and other criminals who were visiting the posh area of Saket with the intention of committing crime. The team developed sources in Sangam Vihar and surrounding area and zeroed down on some identified criminals who were putting up there but visiting the Saket area to commit snatching and robbery. The team tightened its grip on a few criminals who got released from jail recently and raided their hideouts during the course of investigation of a robbery case pending investigation in PS Saket. On specific information received through one secret source, the team arrested the absconding and wanted Goonga alongwith his accomplice Nawab on 11.03.12 at around 1.30 PM when they had visited the back side of Mall area in Saket and specifically planned to target a collection agent who used to come in the area to collect cash from various franchises. One automatic loaded English pistol was found in the possession of Goonga and one knife was in the possession of his accomplice were recovered. A case of Arms Act was registered at P.S. Saket vide FIR No. 90/12 and PS Sangam Vihar has also been informed regarding the arrest of these wanted criminals.
INTERROGATION:
On sustained interrogation, accused Goonga disclosed to have shot fire at Prabhakar Thakur @ Sonu on 16.01.12 due to local rivalry. The group of Goonga consisting of Sonu @ Tuta, Chunnu, Rahul, Akhlak, Javed etc. surrounded the members of rival party consisting of Sonu, Pawan @ Kabooter, Vipin etc. and after scuffle shot at Sonu who sustained injuries at lower abdomen. Goonga wanted to establish unchallenged supremacy in the area so that no one could raise any opposition. A few days ago to that incident, Goonga had also snatched a bag from one of the members of the rival gang and got two pistols and knives. He also used to collect hafta and made his den in the deep of the forest area back side of Sangam Vihar where he used to call minor school going children with food, cash etc. He used to snatch cash from the persons who gambled in the Tughlakabad jungle area and sustained his livelihood.
He had created terror in the area and played a role of Robbinhood for minor children and fulfilled their petty demands who in exchange worked as his sources to collect intelligence. He had earlier been involved in 28 cases of thefts, murder, robberies, Excise Act and body offences and spent substantial time in the jail. His involvement in robbery cases reported in the nearby area is being verified.
RECOVERY:
- An automatic .32 bore English pistol with live cartridges;
- A knife, cell phone etc.

NIGERIAN INDULGED SUPPLY OF NARCOTIC SUBSTANCE ARRESTED : 8 GMS OF FINE QUALITY COCAINE WORTH MORE THAN RS. 10 LACS RECOVERED
With the arrest of accused Obiora Ikenna Sunday (aged 32 years) S/o Late Emmanuel, staff of PS Fatehpur Beri, South District has recovered 8 gms. fine quality cocaine worth more than Rs. 10 lacs in the international market.
BRIEF FACTS :
On 11/03/12, at 10.00 PM a surprise checking by a team comprising SI Jaivir, Ct. Sanjeev No. 2928/SD, Ct. Sandeep No. 1888/SD, Ct. Dhara No. 3342/SD and Ct. Mahender No. 2874/SD was conducted at Gujjar Chowk, Aya Nagar, New Delhi. During checking, one person came from Arjungarh Metro Station to Gujjar Chowk, Aya Nagar in suspicious condition. He was indicated to stop for checking but instead of stopping, he turned back and started walking hurriedly to escape from the spot. But the alert members of police team acted swiftly and intercepted him after a minor chase. During enquiry, he was identified as Obiora Ikenna Sunday S/o Late Emmanuel R/o 18, Mbanefo Street Town Igbo, Ukwu, StateAnambra, Nigeria. Presently, he was residing at 192-F, Arjun Nagar, New Delhi as tenant. During verification of his documents, it was found that his visa had already been expired on 07.02.10. On physical search, 8 gms. of fine quality cocaine was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 70/12 U/s 21 NDPS Act and 14 Foreigners Act PS Fatehpur Beri was registered and investigation taken up.
INTERROGATION :
On sustained interrogation, it revealed that accused is graduated from Nigeria. He came to India about fourteen months back on tourist visa and started living at 192-F, 2nd floor, Arjun Nagar, New Delhi as tenant. Initially, he started export of readymade garments, shoes and other accessories from Delhi to Lagos (Nigeria) but he incurred heavy losses in the business. Later on, he came in contact with a Nigerian drug trafficker namely Efoama, who met him in the Safdarjung Enclave area. He lured him in the trade for earning fast bucks. On 12.03.12, he came to Arjun Nagar area for supplying the cocaine to a potential buyer namely Odapam.

DESPERATE SNATCHERS CUM M.V THIEVES ARRESTED
The staff of PS Uttam Nagar has arrested two desperate snatchers cum M. V thieves namely Bharat S/o Balchand and Mohd. Salim S/o Mohd. Sari Arif Ansari in case FIR No. 121, dated 11.03.2012 u/s 356/379/482/411/34 IPC, PS Uttam Nagar.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON
1.Bharat S/o Balchand R/o D-1/37, Om Vihar Phase-V, Uttam nagar, Delhi, Age 23 yrs and studied up to 5th class. He belongs to a poor family. They live in a rented house/. Previously they were living at A-1/15, Gali No1, Om Vihar Phase-V,Uttam Nagar, Delhi.

Bharat was released from Jail on 6.1.12 and started work of repairing shutters with his father. During interrogation he disclosed that birthday of his elder sister Kanta R/o Bawana,Delhi was on 11.3.12 and he wanted to give some costly gift to her.Hence he snatched the chain but unluckily he was caught along with his associate Mohd. Salim.
- Mohd. Salim S/o Mohd. Sari Arif Ansari R/o A-1/40, Om Vihar Phase -V, Uttam Nagar, Delhi, Age 22 years. He is un-educated. He belongs to a poor family who live in rented house at A-1/40, Om Vihar Phase-V, Uttam Nagar, Delhi. He does welding job with his father. Bharat used to come to their shop as he repairs shutters with his father. They used to take their help in welding work. Mohd. Salim disclosed that, he was lured by Bharat to indulge in chain snatching to get easy money but unluckily they were apprehended. He was involved in theft of motor cycle from the area of village Budela and a case of chain snatching of P.S Mianwali vide FIR No 49 dated 21.2.12 u/s 379/356/34 IPC PS Mianwali.
History sheet/ Externement proceedings are being initiated against these both desperate criminals to check their criminal activities in future.
INFORMATION AND OPERATION
On 11.3.12 Smt. Sapna aged 45 yrs W/o Sh. Manoj Kumar R/o D-250, Nawada Housing Complex, Uttam Nagar was going to Jhandewalan Mandir with her daughter Amita aged 24 yrs, when they reached opposite Polo Garden on Polo Garden road Uttam Nagar near Dwarka More, two young boys came on a Discover Motor Cycle No. DL 9S AA 3191 and snatched her golden and tried to run away. Smt. Sapna and her daughter Amita raised alarm. Both the snatchers were apprehended by the public with the help of beat officer Ct. Pankaj No 2863/W PS Uttam Nagar. They were identified as (1) Mohd Salim S/o Sh. Mohd. Shaif Ansari R/o A-1/40, Om Vihar Phase-V, Uttam Nagar (2) Bharat S/o Bal Chand R/o D-1/37, Om Vihar Phase-V, Uttam Nagar Delhi. The snatched gold chain was recovered from Bharat who was the pillion rider and he only snatched the chain. Mohd. Salim was driving the motor cycle.
INVESTIGATION.
During investigation it was revealed that, Motor cycle No. DL 9S AA 3191, Bajaj Discover was stolen by both of them from Vill. Budela and case FIR No. 56 dated 4.3.12 U/S 379 IPC PS Vikas Puri was registered in this regards and actual number of this motor cycle was DL 9S AA 3194. So case FIR No.121 dated 11.3.12 U/S 356/379/482/411/34 IPC PS Uttam Nagar was registered.
On sustained interrogation, they disclosed regarding theft of this motor cycle from village Budela in the area of PS Vikas Puri and they also disclosed regarding chain snatching in the area of PS Mianwali of FIR No. 49 dated 21.2.12 U/S 356/379/34 IPC PS Mianwali.
Further investigation is being made to ascertain their involvement in other cases.
