Gambling January 2016 activity summary, tax return, allowable expenses, and April 2016 budget were presented and approved.
MITES/SUPERMITES REPRESENTATIVE – Lorne Hedin
OPERATIONS UNIT – Chris Brunholzl
Mr. Brunholzl will be sending out an e-mail to team managers regarding dark jersey turn in times/dates.

TRAVELING UNIT – Jeff Phillips
Mr. Phillips reported that traveling is looking into having players register for a tryout time at the time of registration and will further look into this being set up on NGIN.
HOCKEY ADVISORY - Doug Zmolek-absent
Recruitment- Pilar Gibson
Ms. Gibson discussed a Try Hockey for Free day for this spring. Using Peach Jar through the public schools was discussed
And Ms. Gibson stated she would look into cost for this and report back. The board agrees that this spring would be a good
time to try this event again.
TOURNAMENTS – Rob Cothern
BOOSTERS – Shannon Weick
Ms. Weick reported that April Pahl has agreed to continue as the Pizza Coordinator one more year.
GIRLS UNIT- Guy Gallaugher
Mr. Gallagher wishes the 14UA team good luck at the State Tournament.
BUILDING COMMITTEE- Mark Hickey
Mr. Hickey reported there will be a zoning appeal for the Elton Hills entrance at the REC Center and encourages attendance to show support for remaining open. If this is approved it will go before the City Council.
OLD BUSINESS
NEW BUSINESS-
The Mayo Clinic is planning on scheduling a Safe Sport Clinic again this fall. Currently looking at October. Plans are just beginning and the Clinic would like to have this be mandatory for all and all coaches be required to attend.
The Golf Committee recently met to discuss plans for the RYHA Golf Tournament in June. The cost will be $85 to play and have dinner or $15 for dinner alone. The committee would like to encourage non golfers to participate in the after golf social and are working on items for an auction and/or raffle.
