Everybody Outstanding

Expression of interest form:
Bursary for Exploring Leadership & Management, Integration and School Improvement

The Association of Principal Teachers in Integrated Schools (APTIS) has recently secured funding from the Integrated Education Fund (IEF) to explore integration and school improvement that lead to improved learning outcomes for our pupils.

The aims of the project are:

  1. To highlight that all integrated schools are regarded as providing outstanding education in their communities
  2. To ensure that all integrated schools will be able to participate in Everybody Outstanding events
  3. That Everybody Outstanding will be evidenced in terms of enrolment and publicity in all integrated schools

The good practice bursaries’ aim is to identify the very good practice that is happening across the integrated schools and to disseminate it throughout the movement. At the Spring Conference principals identified areas that their school would be willing to share (a list of these is attached for reference). However this is not an exhaustive list and your school may be doing something that you think would benefit other schools.

The project is designed to bring 3 or 4 schools together who display good practice in an area of work. Together they will examine what this practice is and how it leads to better learning outcomes.

There are five bursaries of £3,000 available for each cluster to allow schools to identify their good practice and to share it with the wider integrated movement.

These bursaries can financially assist partner schools/clusters to undertake action research, develop Trusted Colleague Networks, grow understanding and confidence, and raise awareness of outstanding educational provision within and across the integrated school system.
