KARTA SINGH
During his youth, Karta Singh was passionate about Sufi teachings, sacred geometry, architecture, music and dance. At the age of 21, he joined the Masons where he was given traditional and spiritual teachings. Later on, he was initiated into shamanic healing. In search for a true master (Sat Guru), he met Yogi Bhajan, with whom he studied and practiced closely for 30 years. Karta Singh created a pioneering teacher training programme in the Eighties. He is now a Senior Lead Trainer certified by I.K.Y.T.A. (International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association), and he contributes to the development of the training programme as member of the Consulting Council of KRI (Kundalini Research Institute). He has motivated many students to teach, and for teachers to carry on training new teachers. Having created the school Amrit Nam Sarovar, from which he guides teachers-trainers and anyone looking for self-achievement. Presently, Karta Singh is completing his vision of the school by creating a community at the ‘Domaine du Martinet’ in the French Alps. The community follows conscious agricultural concepts and global healing, in harmony with the Humanology of Yogi Bhajan and the Dharma Sikh. At present the school is composed of about twenty local centres in Europe and Russia. Karta Singh visits the schools regularly delivering messages and experiences to help us to go serenely through the present time. His guidance and managment encourage autonomy and interdependance in the new age. Recognised as an inspiring guide through these turbulant times, Karta Singh accompanies us on our life path, to help realize our essential nature and to manifest creatively into the world.
