Swimming Events: This is a VARSITY ONLY swim meet. There are time standards and proof of time is required. This is a prelim and final meet. All preliminary swimming will be done on Friday, December 8, 2017. Both pools will be used. Boys will swim in the west end of the pool (diving well end), while girls will swim in the east end of the pool (competitive end). Official high school order of swimming events will be followed. Top sixteen places will swim in finals on Saturday, December 9, 2017. Places 9-16 will swim in consolation finals. Places 1-8 will swim in finals.
Diving Events: Girls 1m diving and Boys 1m diving will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016. 1m diving will consist of 11 dives. 8 dives on Friday, with the final 3 dives on Saturday. 3m diving will be offered on Saturday after 1m diving finals. 3m diving will consist of 1-6 dives. 1st dive voluntary DD 1.9. Minimum dive is 1 with maximum 6.
Scoring: Individual places will be scored to sixteen places. Relays will be scored to sixteen places double that of individual events.
Awards: Individual awards will consist of medals for the top three finalists in each event including relays. Ribbons will be awarded for fourth through eighth places including relays.
Entries: Each team may make an unlimited number of entries in individual events. Swimmers or divers may be entered in no more than four events, two of which must be relays. Each school is limited to two relays in each relay event. Time standards will be used. Proof of times is required. All entries must be submitted using Hy-Tek software and include where and when the time was achieved. Confirmation will always be given upon receipt.
Deadline: All swimming and diving entries are due to Monica Rosales by e-mail at on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. Diving sheets will be due as well, and must be faxed to (956) 504-6674 or e-mailed. If Diving sheets are not received by Wednesday your diver WILL NOT be able to dive.
