Walpole Outdoors Launches New Line of Outdoor Pavilions
Walpole Outdoors’ new pavilions offer more than just protection; they promote
a whole new lifestyle space outdoors
WALPOLE, Mass. – Jan. 15, 2015–Walpole Outdoors, one of the country’s leading manufacturer and distributor of distinctive architectural landscape products and structures, today announced it will be introducing a new line of outdoor pavilions at this year’s 2015 International Builders’ Show (IBS), the nation’s largest home building industry trade show set to take place Jan. 20-22,2015, in Las Vegas, NV.
Walpole Outdoors’ new pavilions will be constructed from the company’s signature cellular PVC material. Ensuring longevity and eye-pleasing aesthetics, cellular PVC features the look and feel of natural wood, but will not rot, warp or split.
Walpole Outdoors’ pavilions are designed to provide significantshade and protection from inclement weatherfor outdoor kitchens and living spaces. As a result, this enables homeowners to transform their backyard havens into comfortable living spaces, much like their home’s interiors.
“As consumers are increasingly investing in their exterior spaces, we responded to their desire for more spacious products to complete the ideal outdoor living lifestyle,” says Lou Maglio, president of Walpole Outdoors. “Walpole’s new pavilions offer more protection to ensure outdoor living rooms can better accommodate larger gatherings, while maintaining the same luxuries as indoor spaces.”
The pavilions can house fans, televisions and other electronics to create an all-encompassing outdoor oasis. They will be available in17 standard sizes ranging from 8 feet by 8 to 16 feet by 24 feet. Roof styles include standing seam aluminum, finished in a wide variety of paint colors as well as standing seam copper, standing seam patina copper and cedar shingle. Optional 10-inch diameter Tuscan fiberglass columns; square fiberglass columns; or cellular PVC, structurally reinforced pillar posts will also be available.
Beams, fascia and soffits will be fabricated from cellular PVC with factory pre-finished Sherwin-Williams paint. Tongue-and-groove sheathing in clear, natural Western Red Cedar completes the make-up of the pavilions’ interior ceilings. To fit the needs of each landscape project, decorative brackets, lattice panels, arches, drop shades, dentil molding, and fretwork provides design-build professionals with stunning architectural elements to enhance their projects’ overall look.
