He stated that this gelding was drawn badly in his previous start and was against a weaker field today. The Board noted this explanation.

ADDENDUM

Assistant Trainer D Cunha acted for Trainer J Snaith with regard to his runners at today’s race meeting.

Jockey A Delpech was stood down by the Course Medical Officer on 22nd July 2003 at Clairwood Racecourse. He was replaced on all his rides by Jockey C Orffer.

Race 1, EREBUS the colours are white and red halved horizontally, white and orange striped sleeves, quartered cap.

Race 3, ROYAL PORTRAYAL the colours are brown, red hooped sleeves, white armband, white cap.

Race 4, STYLE STREET the owners are Mr & Mrs A C Greeff and Messers F H & M J McGrath & A J Ward and the colours are black, gold hoops, black & gold halved sleeves, hooped cap.

Race 5, BRUBECK foaled on 08-11-1996.

Race 6, AGAPANTO’S ACE foaled 15-10-1998. The owners are Mr & Mrs A C Greeff and the colours are white, emerald maltese cross, emerald & white striped sleeves, emerald cap white peak.

The Course Farrier reported that the shoes of all the runners engaged at today’s Race Meeting were checked and conformed with the rules.
