WEATHER OBSERVATIONS DURING LAST THREE/FOUR DAYS IN THE DISTRICT
During the month of September, 2017 an amount of 103.2 mm rainfall was recorded in Krishna district of South Coastal Andhra Pradesh as against the normal of 164.0 mm.
During last three/four days i.e. Oct 25th - 27th , 2017, an amount 1.8 mm rainfall was received as against the forecast of 62.0 mm for Krishna district of South Coastal Andhra Pradesh under AMF Unit, Lam.

Paddy / panicle initiation / leaf blast / · Under present weather conditions, leaf blast may be noticed.
· Spray Tricyclozole 0.6g or isoprothiolane 1.5 ml or Kasugamycin @2.5ml per liter of water
leaf mite / · spry wettable sulphur @ 3 g/l or Dicofol 5 ml/l
BPH / · spray acephate 1.5 g or monocrotophos 2.2 ml or buprofezin1.6 ml or pymetrizion 0.6g/litre of water.
Rabi Pulses / seedlings / flea beetles / · Collect good quality seed material before sowing and treated with carbandism @ 2.5 g or Imidachloprid 600FS @5 ml per kg of seed
· Present condition flea battles may attack in pulses ( 10- 15 days) crop. To control it spry chlorpyriphos 2.5 mi or monochrotophos 1.6 ml/ of water.
Cotton / flowering stage-boll stage / sucking pest complex / · spry monochrotophos 1.6 ml or acephate 1.5 g or fipronil 2.0 ml or flonicamid 0.3 g/ l of water.
pink bollworm / · spray chlorpyriphos 2.5 ml or quinolphos 2.5 ml or profenophos 2 ml/ 1 of water
square and flower drop / · Under present weather condition moist condition followed by dry condition. There is a possibility of flowers square and early fruit drops happened in cotton. This can be managed by balance nutrition, balanced fertilization, harmone spry and water management. Naphthalene acetic acid (N A A ) 10 ppm by mixing with 1- 2 % DAP or without DAP may spry twice within 10-15 days interval based on the need.
Sugarcane / moderate rains / · Under present moderate cool weather sucking complex, ooly aphids, mealy bugs may be washed out with coming rains need not go for spraying under savior conditions this pests can be managed by spraying with malathion @ 2 ml or endosulphon @ 2 ml monoicrotophos @ 1.6 ml or methyldemoton @ 2 ml or eciphate @ 1 g per liter of water
