Instructions for Using the IdentoGO Fast Fingerprint Pass System
Our goal is to help America secure its workplaces from criminal activity that impacts our children in schools, our elderly in care facilities and our security, financial and real estate professionals and their customers. We do this work with trusted coordination between the FBI and federal and state agencies.
Schedule your fingerprint appointment 48 hours after submitting criminal history form.
Here’s how to get started:
1. Complete the middle portion of the form. Then schedule an appointment by either going online to the IdentoGO website at http://www.identogo.com/FP/texas.aspx - click on the "On-line Scheduling" button or by calling IdentoGO at toll-free at 1-888-467-2080 (8am-5pm CST).
2. Have this form with you, it has information such as our agency's ORI number and the reason you are being fingerprinted.
3. When scheduling online, you must select the following:
Select the language that you would like to register in (either English or Spanish),
Enter First and Last Name,
Then choose All Others for the type of agency under the application ID;
Then select Option A – Electronic Submission for the type of fingerprints needed.
Then select yes, I have a Fast Fingerprint Pass
Then enter the following Agency ORI number, TX922250Z
(This is a very important step!!! If you do not enter the correct ORI number, DFPS will not receive the results of the fingerprint check and you will have to conduct another check and pay an additional $41.25 fee).
Enter Application ID (enter your social security number)
Then enter Agency/Entity/Organization Name – click the drop box arrow and click on ACC
Follow the prompts to enter requested information.
4. If you choose to schedule via phone, request an “Electronic Fingerprint Submission” and the operator will obtain the above information from you.
5. Arrive at the facility at your appointed time.
6. Bring the following with you to your fingerprinting appointment:
· Completed FAST PASS Form
· Your driver's license or other valid form of identification with photo
· The form of payment you selected when you made your appointment for the amount of $41.25 (additional fees may be applied).
7. Additional information -
§ You may pay FAST services online with a credit card or onsite with a check or money order only.
§ The technician will run your fingerprints, take your photograph and give you a signed receipt.
§ Your fingerprints will then be sent electronically to DPS, DPS will send the print to NCIC (FBI) electronically the same day.
§ The results will be sent directly to Licensing from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
*Note:
*A person required to have an FBI check with DFPS must submit a new set of fingerprints if his or her renewal check is not requested within 24 months after the date of the most recent request.
*An out-of-state student will need to provide the same social security number that was entered in the criminal history form (International student will need to provide the number entered on the criminal history form and/or the ACC assigned number).
