INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS

PURPOSE: The purpose of the journal is to disseminate technical information of permanent interest.

SUBMISSION: Manuscripts should be submitted to the journal of Advanced Materials Manufacturing & Characterization through online or e-mail () in word format. Please visit more details. Guidelines for manuscript styling and preparation are provided at the site.

Each manuscript must be accompanied by a statement that it has been neither published nor submitted for publication, in whole or in part, either in a serial, professional journal or as a part in a book which is formally published and made available to the public. IJAMMC meeting preprints and articles included in symposium volumes for symposia (sponsored or co-sponsored by IJAMMC) are not considered as prior publication. The journals do not accept multi-part manuscripts. Each paper should be capable of being reviewed independently of other submissions by the same author(s).

USE OF SI UNITS:all manuscripts submitted to IJAMMC must use SI (metric) units in text, figures, or tables. In addition to SI units, English units may be included parenthetically.

MATHEMATICAL: All mathematical expressions should be included in the manuscript. Care should be taken to distinguish between capital and lower case letters, between zero (0) and the letter (o), between the numerical (1) and the letter (l), etc. mathematical expressions should fit into a single column when set in type. Equations that might extend beyond the width of one column (fractions that should not be broken or long expressions enclosed in parentheses) should be rephrased to go on two or more lines within column width. Fractional powers are preferred to root signs and should always be used in more elaborate formulas. The solidus (/) should be used instead of horizontal line for fractions whenever possible. Numbers that identify mathematical expressions should be enclosed in parentheses. Refer to equations in the text as “Eq. (1),” etc., or “Equation (1),” etc., at the beginning of a sentence.

A nomenclature defining symbols should be included, except for brief communications, like technical Briefs, where symbols are normally identified in the text.

GRAPHICS (Tables and Illustrations): brief tables may be included in the text of the manuscript, but larger tables (more than six lines) should be created separately and assembled with the figures at the end of the manuscript. A separate list of figure captions should be included in the manuscript. Color graphics are included in the electronic version of the journal at no additional cost to the author; however, for full color in print authors will be assessed the additional charges.

REFERENCES: All references should be listed at the end of the text in the order in which they are cited (not alphabetical). References should include date of publication, full title, full name of source, and inclusive page numbers. References should be cited within the text in numerical order according to their order of appearance. The numbered reference citation should be enclosed in brackets, e .g .,”It was shown by Gupta [1] that the thickness of cup decreases under these conditions.” In the case of two citations, the numbers should be separated by a comma [1, 2]. In the case of more than two reference citations, the numbers should be separated by a dash [5-7]. Acceptable references include: journal articles, dissertations, published conference proceedings numbered paper preprints from conferences, books available from the U.S. Government, submitted articles if the journal is identified, and private communications.

SUBSCRIPTION: Once the article is published, the author will receive a full copy of the journal and will also be entitled for its subscription

for a period of one year. Authors/Libraries/Institutions seeking the subscription of the journal should contact the editorial office for assistance.

each paper will have a unique doi number and it will be indexed by CrossRef, Proquest and will be submitted to Scopus directory and amongst others, where ever applicable.
