Position Description
This position is primarily responsible for the development and administration of information systems and security procedures for Raytheon Special Program customer information systems and networks supporting the DoD.The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring Information System compliance throughout the Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) Business and may support multiple IDS Business Centers when necessary. The candidate will communicate and coordinate Information Systems Security policy across multiple Cross Business Teams (CBT) and Integrated Business Teams (IBT) as well as partner with other Raytheon Businesses as necessary.The position requires frequent interaction with government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations.This position will primarily support multiple Programs located at IDS Headquarters in Tewksbury, MA and the Integrated Air Defesne Center located in Andover, as well as, other IDS Mission Centers within the Boston Area. There is also limited travel to other Raytheon Businesses and various program locations.
This position can be a Salary Grade A03 or Salary Grade A04 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of DoD Information Systems Security experience
- Experience with JAFAN 6/3, DCID 6/3 or ICD 503 and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Chapter 8 requirements.
- Minimum existing Secret clearance required
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience developing IS security plans, policy, and procedures for Local Area Network (LAN) Information Systems and Wide Area Network (WAN) Information Systems.
- Knowledge of Windows/Solaris/Linux or similar operating systems.
- Individual must have the ability to conduct IS User Briefings.
- Ability to execute tough decisions with minimal supervision in accordance with government regulations.
- Ability to effectively work as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills (written & oral).
- Possess good time management skills
- Ability to obtain a US Government Top Secret Clearance or Existing Top Secret clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation current within five years.
- Within 6 mos. must obtain DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II or IAM Level I minimum Certification, i.e., Security+; CISSP preferred.
- Understands and leverages IDSbusiness knowledge to achieve results (financial, manpower, etc)
- Demonstrate ability to develop and defend Basis of Estimates.
- Utilize forward thinking to anticipate customer/government changes and challenges
- Ability to handle difficult people and/or situations in high pressure environments.
Working knowledge of the other pertinent manuals of the JAFAN/DCID/ICD, as well as, the other chapters of the NISPOM as it applies to information systems. - Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Familiarity with theJoint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG)
Incumbent will be required to submit to a CI Polygraph prior to access.
Education Required:Bachelor's degree, preferably in one of the following but not limited to: Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or Criminal Justice
