II. 2015 Holiday Fund for Faculty and Staff
A. Holiday Fund Explanation:
For many years, The Howard Parents Association has helped to ensure that the holidays are truly a wonderful time of year for our fantastic Howard School faculty and staff. We want to ensure that all of our faculty and staff receive a holiday ‘THANK YOU’ gift from all of us, the Howard School families.
Our students at The Howard School are helped by so many each and every day – lead teachers, support teachers, music teachers, art teachers, counselors, speech language pathologists, literacy teachers, technology teachers, the school nurse, the security officers, the receptionist, maintenance personnel, aftercare and many people ‘behind the scenes’ who make it all flow seamlessly, day after day. The list can be daunting and no one wants to forget anyone.
The Howard Parents Association Holiday Fund has become an annual tradition. We will keep our different approach to giving again this year to ensure no one is forgotten and to help make giving just a little easier for all of our Howard families.
Donations may be made online at The Howard School website/Parents/Holiday Fund, by check (payable to The Howard School Parents Association), or cash. Check and cash donations may be dropped off in the school lobby.
Donations may be made through Wednesday December 16, 2015.
Cash gifts will be presented to faculty and staff on Friday December 18th.
B. Suggested Amounts: Ask parents to consider how much they would spend on each staff member they would like to remember at the holidays, understanding that approximately 10-15+ staff members interact with our students on any given day.
C. Deadline: Wednesday December 16, 2015
D. Gift Preparation and Distribution: Thursday December 17, 2015 at 8:30 am in the library
