1. MISSION OBJECTIVES:
Provide demonstrations, information and education on District 14 Amateur
Radio Emergency Service support to the Colorado Springs Office of
Emergency Management during severe weather, wildland fires or
declared emergencies.

CONCEPT OF OPERATIONS
1. Simulated request for support from National Weather Service at 4 flood
gauge station observer locations (see above) and 2 wildland fire observer locations(see above).
2. Flooding and fire danger increases, requiring the City of Colorado Springs to activate the CS EOC, at event site.
3. Operators will only transmit observations and reports, as requested.
4. Information and demonstration of ARES capabilities provided to event participants.
Procedures
Tactical call signs will be used at the initiation of a transmission and end with operators full call sign.
