Are you tired and weary? Are you feeling unloved?Jesus said “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). We all need to be loved. Just as our body needs food, water, rest and exercise to be healthy, so our spirit/soul needs to be loved in order to be healthy (i.e., secure, at peace, joyful). God knows that and wants our souls to “Taste and see that He is good” (1 Peter 2:3) and to experience His love that is “better than life” so that our “souls are satisfied with the richest of foods” (Psalm 63:3, 5).You are invited to come and “taste,” to experience God’s love in a deep and personal way so that your soul is satisfied and singing with joy. Everyone wants to be loved. Husbands and wives don’t want to simply “know” that their spouse loves them. They want to be loved by them in meaningful ways – through words and actions. That’s what brings joy and satisfaction in the relationship. Come and experience God loving you in meaningful, practical, tangible ways – through words and actions from Him in your life today.

In John 13:34, Jesus says, “As I have loved you so you must love one another.” In order to love “as”we have been loved, we have to be loved first.Come and be loved by Jesus and the Father, through Holy Spirit, in practical ways so that you can do for / to others what has been done for / to you.

As disciples of Christ, are we truly known by love? Jesus said, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (Jn. 13:35).To what degree is this true of you?Is there a way to become more loving? YES! We generally love to the degree we have been loved. We can’t give away what we don’t have or know very well. Come and experience Jesus loving you so that you are filled up to overflowing and can’t hold back from loving others with the love you have experienced. “We love because he first loved us” (1John 4:19).
