RESULTS FOR MORAY NEW - 19 NOVEMBER 2011
On an unusually benign scoring day, three under par 66 by Allan Cameron (Inverness) was the winning return in Saturday’s North Scottish Golfers’ Alliance fixture over the new Course at Moray Golf Club. Three birdies at the 2nd, 10th and 17th and 15 pars ensured a one stoke victory over Neil Mcwilliam (Elgin) who birdied three of his closing five holes.
Included on 68 was Kevin Barnett (Torvean) who won Section one off 5 in a card that contained only 3’s and 4’s. Section Two was won by Barry Mellis from Rothes who went out in a best of the day three under par 31 including an opening bogey before settling for a 63 off 9. The Secretary will be reducing 10 handicaps as a result of Saturday’s scoring.
