5K Run/Walk

The Little Bearcats Youth Sports program promotes an active lifestyle and encourages everyone to participate in this year’s 5K (3.1 miles) Run/Walk during Greene River Days!

Date: Saturday, June 16th

Time: 7:30 AM registration begins

8:30 AM 5K Run/Walk

Place: Perrin Park, 1st Street, Greene

Entry Fee: *Pre-register by June 4, 2012=$15.00 (guaranteed a t-shirt)

*After June 4 & same day=$20.00

*T-Shirts are included for all pre-registered participants and available for late entrants while supplies last.

* Please make checks payable to ‘Little Bearcats’.

Proceeds: All proceeds will benefit the Little Bearcats Youth Sports program. Funds will be used to purchase equipment to provide a safe and fun learning experience for all children!

Awards: Awards will be given to the 1st place male and female finishers in each age group as well as the overall male and female winners.

Age groups: 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over

Directions to Greene:

Greene is located on Hwy 14 north of Allison and south of Charles City. Turn east on 1st Street, go 5 blocks, and Perrin Park will be on your right.
