  • Use at least one comparison word.
  • If you say how something creates a mood or reflects the tone- this is inference
  • Drawing conclusions about a place or person is inference
  • You should include information about the purpose of the text, the content (characters and/or events and/or setting), the mood or tone

•Underline key words in the question.
•Use the bullet points.
•Convey means to communicate. You can comment on language (words, sentences and techniques) and structure.
•Write an overview statement.
•Choose a good quote from one of the sources (short, relevant and with a good word or technique you can comment on).
•Choose one word, think of a synonym to explain it then PETER or PEA saying what feelings the writer is trying to get across and how.
