The core purpose of this position is to lead the coordination of all of
the Supply Chain related activities for major strategic accounts.
Drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process as a part of the
Advantaged Supply Chain.
Accountable for development, implementation and execution of various
processes to achieve cost, cash, and service targets.
Provide supply chain solutions to drive down costs and working capital
and to improve customer service.
Requirements / · Required: Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, operations management, economics, engineering, computer science or related field
· Advanced degree preferred.
· Five (5) or more years experience in a manufacturing supply chain function, order management, or operations role with experience in data gathering using ERP and data warehouse management tools. Experience in leading a team through process creation and implementation. Supervisory experience preferred.
· Well-developed communication skills; ability to articulate complex issues in a concise and logical manner
· Ability to prepare detailed analysis and summary reports using creditable systems
· Proficient working knowledge with ERP systems, such as SAP or equivalent
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Ability to deal with cross-functional team
Tasks / · Perform value-added services by coordinating activities between the customer, the business, and the entire supply chain network to ensure that customer requirements and business goals and objectives are achieved.
· Coordinate and lead weekly alignment and consensus meetings to review customer sales forecasts and demand plans, to discuss promotions, product lifecycle management, or product screen changes, to discuss capacity-related issues, and to identify any other supply-related issues.
· Benchmark, develop and implement innovative solutions to ensure the highest level of service to Interstate's customers.
· Perform detailed analysis of current forecasts compared to inventory and planned production to identify and mitigate the gaps.
· Communicate action plans to all supply chain leaders.
· Lead special projects/process clubs to drive the Advantaged Supply Chain initiatives.
