Photoshop Classroom in a Book
Lesson 01 (90 mins approx)
If you are new to Photoshop and Bridge, the lessons below will help you familiarise yourself with this software.
If you have used Photoshop previously it is likely you will still learn new things by going through these introductory exercises.
If you find you have covered a topic already and understand it thoroughly, please move on to the next lesson.

Please provide all Classroom in a Book exercises you complete on a disc at assessment time.
Image A – circular marquee, inverse, invert etc
• Reset palette locations
• Pixels (and resolution)
• Application Frame
• Bridge to open (access Bridge from button on the control bar)
• Zoom and File Size (lower left of window)
• Open car image
• Zoom in on headlight
• Elliptical marquee to select headlight (deselect + redo)
• Select > Inverse to reverse the selection
• Curves to brighten and darken

• Save as PSD
