*Your puppy is current on recommended vaccinations and has been appropriately de-wormed. Puppies have had dewclaws removed and tails docked. All puppies are fed Loyal Puppy food and adults are fed Loyal Adult Lamb and Brown Rice, both made by Nutrena ( Food can be purchased here at $22.00/20 lb bag.
HEALTH GUARANTEE:
Your puppy is guaranteed for one year from date of birth against any life threatening genetic defects if the below procedure is followed. Any indication of neglect, injury, or mistreatment will render this contract null and void.
Buyer must take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian within five working days of pick-up for an exam. If at that time the veterinarian finds anything wrong with the puppy buyer has 48 hours to notify FourB Farm. FourB Farm has the right to have a second examination done by a licensed veterinarian of their choosing. If that veterinarian comes to the same conclusion, the buyer has the following options:
o The puppy can be returned and FourB Farm will refund all monies paid minus original $100 deposit.
o The puppy can be kept and ½ the original purchase price will be refunded (not including $100 deposit).
o The puppy can be exchanged for one of equal value when one becomes available. FourB Farm will add buyer back to puppy list with no additional deposit needed.
Buyer must notify FourB Farm of which option they have chosen within five working days from completion of second veterinarian exam.
*NOTE: BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE AND AGREES TO PAY ALL VETERINARIAN AND OTHER ASSOCIATED COSTS REGARDING THE RETURN, EXCHANGE OR KEEPING OF THE PUPPY.*
ADDITIONAL GUARANTEES:
HIP DYSPLASIA
FourB Farm will guarantee your dog against hip dysplasia if the following conditions are met:
• Buyer must notify FourB Farm within ten days of the diagnosis.
• Original buyer must still own the dog.
• Dog must be spayed/neutered (unless purchased with full registration)
• OFA must find the dog to be Severely Dysplastic.
• Radiographs must have been taken between 1.5 - 2 years of age. Radiographs taken after 2 years of age will not qualify for the guarantee.
• A document from the attending veterinarian stating the dog has had radiographs, is of proper weight, has never been bred, and has had routine care must be sent to FourB Farm LLC.
If all above criteria have been met, buyer has the following options:
o The dog can be returned and FourB Farm will refund all monies paid minus original $100 deposit.
o The dog can be kept and ½ the original purchase price will be refunded (not including $100 deposit).
o The dog can be exchanged for one of equal value when one becomes available. FourB Farm LLC will add buyer back to puppy list with no additional deposit needed.
THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS ARE NOT GUARANTEED:
• Underbite, overbite, or other dental related issues
• Umbilical hernias
• Cryptorchid or monorchid (one or both testicles undescended)
• Fleas or lice (once puppy has left premises)
• Worms or other parasites of any kind (puppies will have received proper deworming prior to leaving premises)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Vaccinations and De-worming
• Buyer agrees to keep puppy current on all recommended vaccinations and de-worming schedule.
Spay or Neuter
• Buyer agrees to have puppy spayed/neutered by 1.5 years of age.
Legal
• If Buyer/Seller have any disputes that require court proceedings, Buyer agrees to settle in Dane County
BREEDING CONTRACT:
If a puppy is purchased with full registration, FourB Farm LLC does NOT guarantee your dog will breed, become pregnant, or produce a litter under any terms or circumstances.
