Details of the survey
- Mary Vermillion is the contact person, initiated the survey, and drafted the initial set of questions.
- Anne Marie Karlberg edited the questions and created the survey in Survey Monkey.
- Mary, Marisa and Anne Marie met with 4 student ambassadors to review protocols for conducting the survey and pilot the survey. Questions were revised based on suggestions and feedback from the student ambassadors. Ambassadors were asked to not provide a list of potential responses to students, but to record student responses in the appropriate category or under “other”.
- The survey was conducted by Marisa Ellis on Wed. Oct. 2 at the WCC welcome back BBQ. She supervised student ambassadors who interviewed students using iPads. Because it rained, the BBQ was held inside; 305 students responded to the survey.
