mySAP.com delivers one-step business solution for new B2B portal

mySAP.com, the open collaborative business environment of personalised solutions on demand, has been selected as the underlying foundation for an innovative new business-to-business portal aimed at office administration and finance managers. By investing in mySAP.com infrastructure, the recently launched bigboXX.com – which operates under the e-commerce operations of Hutchison Whampoa Limited -

is able to provide an online presence that is completely tailored to each customer.

Using a number of mySAP.com enterprise applications including sales and distribution, purchasing, inventory and warehouse management as well as financials, bigboXX.com has built a business-to-business e-commerce portal. The solution provides the vital integration between bigboXX.com's front-end website and the back-end operational systems that is critical for any on-line business aiming to be a leader in the B2B arena in Asia.

SAP consultants are continuing to work with the company to further develop the solution, which will be fully launched to the market in mid-Summer with an estimated of 1,500 companies participating in the portal.
