The Provincianal Commissioner ( P.C) of Bay Region and his two deputies elected today at Baidao

Dear Sir/Madam

The election fro the Provincianal Commissioner (PC of Bay Region was held today at the Parliament conference hall in Baidoa where Mr.Mohamoud Mohamed Aden (BarBar) has successful won and was elected for the Post.

The post for which the three members who were Mr. Ali Noor Jeley, Mr.Irbahm Hassan Husein And Mr. Mohamoud Mohamed Aden were competiting for, was in they fist round dropped out and missed the change Mr. Ali Noor Jiley, as the other two Members went through for the second round, whereby Mr. Mohamoud Mohamed Aden (Barbar) won and took over with more votes than his counterpart.

The voters composed of 18 members of the regional admin Council selected from the region’s district, have 11 among the given their votes to the newly elected P.C Mr. Mohamoud Mohamed Aden, where 7 members voted for Mr. Ibrahim Hassasn Husein. The voting was held through secret balloting.

In the other hand the first and the second deputies of the P.C where similarly elected there during the time, where Mr. Shino Moalim yarrow and Mr. Hassan Renow Sheik where respectively elected for the two posts present at the election of the regional admin. Leader which occurred democratically in free and fair manner, were the deputy Prime Minster who is as well the Minster for Interior, Hon. Husein Mohamed Aidid who announced the final results of the election, Minster For Agriculture Hon. Hassan Mohamed Noor (Shati-gadood) , Minister for family affair Mis Fawzia sheik and Minister for Land and Air Transportation Hon. Ibrahim Kishbur as well as honourable members of the parliament.

When the election were finalized and the Interior Minister announced and proclaimed the results Hon. Sheik Aden Madder the Minister for reconciliation and Diaspora Has there after conduced the three officials elect to take the oath for the new responsibilities whey were elected for and took over.

The election for the three top regional admin officials which was supposed to occur already have today come up and happened at the presence of the Interior Minster where as the newly elected officials have, indeed heavy burdens of work waiting them including the absolute affirmation for the region’s security and stability.

The new regional Administration elected and established today here in Bay Region is part of the district based peace building project decreed officially on 29th April 2006, to be carried out and implemented through out the District & Regions of the country.
