Assignment 2 – Legal and Financial Aspects of Business
Scenario:
Your interview with the Chamber of Commerce went well – out of 73 applications you are down to the last 10 (with only 6 of these who will receive the start up funding).
It’s looking promising though – but you’re not there yet!
The Chamber is quite rightly keen to make sure anyone they fund is clear on the legal influences that will affect them – therefore ask you to forward some material that shows you can describe and explain three legal influences on a sports business, as well as a basic cashflow for a business of your choice.
How you present the information is left to you – you see this as part of the task and therefore need to do so in a professional & businesslike manner!
Grading Criteria / Attempt 1 / Referral
P3 - Describe three legal influences on a sports business
P4 - Describe a basic cashflow for a selected business
M3 - Explain three legal influences on businesses in sport
