Exit I-90 at State Street. Go west on State Street. The Olive Garden is on the south side of State Street in a strip of stores.
(Look for Office Max and Marshalls).

Our WLRC Library is such a wonderful asset. Members may contact Sue Seehawer by phone at 815-633-4366 or email and she would be happy to bring the books or other media to the following meeting.
A message fromthe specialty chairperson,Sue Sommer, regarding our June Show:
I think the raffle mania is building nicely. . . some brilliant ideas coming together. I love the "rehome" table idea. For those who missed it, the idea is to raffle rehomed stuff--we all have perfectly good items that are someone else's treasure.
Thanks to the folks who are helping me figure this job out. I plan to circulate the dreaded signup sheet at the February meeting, and thanks in advance to the hard working volunteers. With double obedience/rally and a magnificent raffle, we have great potential for a wonderful event.

A Recipe for Your Dog
CHEESY APPLE NIPS
Makes 16 wonderful, wagging wedges
A HANDPICKED FAVORITE! THESE CHEESY-TO-THE-CORE TREATS ARE
CRUNCHILY PERFECT FOR THE APPLE OF YOUR EYE
3 ounces low-fat cream cheese
2 ounces blue cheese
4 medium apples
Beat cream cheese and blue cheese together until smooth.
Core apple and fill with cheese mixture.
Chill for 2 to 3 hours.
Cut into wedges to serve.
Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
