SUBJECT:HR CIRCULAR 01/16-

Public Holidays 2016 and Early Closure Prior To Certain Holidays

I attach details of the dates for the Public Holidays for 2016. These will be regarded as Public Holidays for employees working in all establishments of the Company.

The Committee of Renfrewshire Leisure Limited has approved the early closure of offices prior to certain holidays as follows.

1. Offices will close at 2.30pm on the last working day prior to the Paisley Fair and Festive Closure, with half an hour break for lunch to be taken on these days.

Legacy Renfrewshire Leisure employees – please note the change in early office closurefrom September weekend to Paisley Fair.

1. Where staff are operational on these days, normal service to the public will be provided as per requirements.
2. Shift workers who work on these days will be entitled to 2 hours in lieu of early closure. This does not apply to employees on annual leave or days off. Hours in lieu will be managed and approved at the discretion of management in accordance with normal procedures in applying for time in lieu.
3. Employees wishing to take annual leave or flexi-leave on these days will require to use a full day’s leave entitlement / flexi credit.
4. Employees who have the facility of flexi-time available to them may use the facility to extend their lunch break beyond 30 minutes, subject to the following:-

1. The employee’s flexi-time balance is in credit.
2. Operational requirements are met and prior approval has been obtained from the employee’s supervisor.

1. Employees who have the facility of flexi-time available to them should record a normal working day on flexi-time record sheet.

Please ensure the content of this circular is brought to the attention of all your employees.
