JOB TITLE:Interim Digital Coordinator (6 months)

SALARY: £25,000

REPORTING TO: Digital Marketing Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

Tomorrow’s People is looking for an Interim Digital Coordinator to support its fundraising and marketing team. We need an Interim who can pick things up quickly and is not afraid to get stuck in right away. The role may become permanent after the initial 6 months but we want to keep things flexible as we grow new income streams. This role offers a great opportunity to help shape the way Tomorrow’s People communicates, both internally and externally, and help the charity to reach more young people most in need.

The successful candidate will support the Digital Marketing Manager to raise the charity’s brand awareness, boost online engagement and increase its supporter base. You will be someone who can work collaboratively with teams across the organisation and be a brand champion in all that you do.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

The role will be varied and you’ll need to be able to turn your hand to a multitude of tasks. Duties will include but are not limited to:

Supporting Digital Marketing Manager with brand and communications strategy, including:

  • Copywriting and content curation
  • Website updates and maintenance
  • Social media management and monitoring
  • Production of marketing materials
  • External event management and support as required

Developing supporter relationships through online engagement:

  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager to deliver communications to strengthen relationships and partnerships across fundraising team
  • Support with curating regular blog posts and e-newsletters
  • Identify opportunities to innovate and inspire our communications
  • Support the fundraising and marketing team to plan and execute communications for campaigns, events, challenges and any other activity as necessary

Developing the charity’s internal communication channels, including:

  • Update and maintaining the intranet, with support from HR
  • Encourage all teams to share and collaborate online
  • Review current set-up and identify ways to invigorate internal comms

You will be expected to undertake other reasonable duties as required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential / Desirable
Experience
  • Previous experience in a marketing and/or fundraising role (including internships) and/or sales and marketing in a commercial environment.

  • Digital marketing experience, including social media and content curation

  • Proven track record of writing engaging copy, including blog posts
/ 
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM database.
