  • Students there will be a run-off election today for Junior Class President between Alivia Belissimo and Amanda Gois today only in front of the media center during office hours only. Please stop by and vote.
  • Class of 2017! Have you taken your senior pictures yet? The deadline is November 7th. Underclassmen- Picture day is September 9th during your English class. Please stop by Ms. O'Grady's classroom in 5-110 for more information on yearbook pictures, purchasing a yearbook and senior ads.
  • Any student who is interested in taking the Volusia County Drivers Education Program, please stop by the guidance department and pick up informational brochures.
  • Attention Cudas: Are you interested in getting involved on campus? Are you curious about the different clubs you can join? Come out to Club Rush today during lunch and office hours for more information. Get involved! There's something for everyone!
  • Homecoming is just around the corner. This year's dance is on October 1st. Ticket sales start soon, and all obligations must be cleared before you can purchase a ticket. Go to the main office to pay obligations.

The Community Volunteer Workshop will be held on Thursday, September 8th,during Office Hours. Please plan on attending the workshop at 12 noon in the Lecture Hall, Building 5, Room 117. All students must attend the 30-minute training, prior to counting volunteer hours. For any questions, please see Mrs. Johnson in the counselor’s office.

  • Seniors and Juniors:

There will be a Student-Parent Information Night on September 13th at 6 p.m. in the Auditorium. Students will review qualifications for Bright Futures, the FAFSA financial aid program, and college admissions. Please bring your parents to this important meeting.

  • Students, are you interested in FREE “ SAT” math help? Daytona State is offering free tutoring every Saturday from October 15 through November 19th, from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Daytona Campus. if you are interested in free SAT help, more information is available in the counselor’s office in building nine.

  • Any students interested in softball there will be a meeting today in room 5-220 during office hours.
  • Also, there will be a girls flag football interest meeting in the lecture hall on Thursday, 9-8 during office hours.
