April 7Welcome to class!
April 15There have been some serious revisions to this week’s schedule, the biggest of which is that the essay folder is not due tomorrow but Thursday. See revised Week 2 Schedule for details.

April 29Example essay 2 is in the “Essay 2” Column now. Enjoy!
May 6The Revision Worksheet for Essay 1 is posted in the Essay 1 column. If you plan to revise, you need to print and complete this worksheet. It also has instructions for what you will turn in on Friday.
May 7Conference Information
Week 5 Schedule has been revised.
May 9Monday and Tuesday: we will not be having regular class. We’ll have conferences, and when you’re not in class you will be working on group projects.
May 15Test 3 will be on MONDAY. See revised schedule for Week 6.
June 6The schedule for the rest of the quarter has been posted. Take a look! Peer Review for Essay 4 will be Wednesday, not Tuesday.
June 12In the “Extras Unit 4” at the bottom of the Unit 4 column, I have posted 4 Power Point presentations to help you learn how to make them and what they look like. Feel free to ask if you have questions!
June 18If you weren’t able to come to the final exam period, your final placement forms, grade sheets, and graded essays await you with the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences staff on the second floor. Ask one of the staff members for your packet. You might need a student ID to show them that you’re who you say you are. Have a good summer!
