Project Three

Katrina Stone

Business Assets

I would set up a home office. For the home office I would need a new laptop, designated only for work, with Microsoft Office software. I would need to set up a business phone line and get a business cell phone. I already have the desk, printer, and the typical office supplies like pens, pencils, sticky-notes, etc. I would need a filing cabinet with file folders and labels. I would need a desk calendar, a contacts book, and a business planner book. I would want a professional brief case that could carry papers and the laptop. I would need a business only bank account and check book to operate. I would need to create a business card and brochures with my personalized logo. I would need binders for client records. I would need printer paper, printer ink and loose leaf paper.

Market Analysis

Due to the population around the location of my business, my target market could be either new or returning brides. There is a small market here and I would need to have options for any kind of bride. My competition for this area is La’Di Events and Prost Event Consulting, both out of sycamore, as well as In the Moment Event Coordination out of DeKalb.
