Qualifications summary
Developed for directors and senior managers, Level 7 qualifications in Strategic Management and Leadership involvedevelopment of existing strategic management and leadership skills to focus on the requirement of implementing organisational strategy, in order to translate this into effective performance.
QCF vocational qualifications at level 7 portray work-based practical skills and competencies that are comparable with Masters degree, Postgraduate Diplomas, Postgraduate Certificates in Education, and Postgraduate Certificates.
Overview
The ICSC (Land and Air) career development programmes have been mapped across to vocational level 7 learning outcomes. Successful completion of the programme enables you to earn accreditation and engagement in the following CMI nationally recognised qualifications:
Land: CMI Level 7Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership (QCF) at 77 QCF credits
Air: CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership (QCF) at 70 QCF credits
Acquire this Qualification.
No additional work is required by you; proof of successful completion of your ICSCprogramme will make you eligible for this qualification. Submit a copy portraying successful completion of the programme,signed off at SO2 level, with your registration form, located on: (see below). Allow 6 weeks for receipt of certification.
Registration
You have an 18-month window of opportunity, from date of course completion, to register for either of these qualifications. Register using the registration form on the CMI web, which you can download and either fax or post to the CMI (details on the form). Visit and click on CMI qualifications. Then scroll down to, and click on, JSCSC / Defence Academy. Scroll down the table to the appropriate ICSC row and click on Download factsheet and Download registration form . Please complete the registration form in conjunction with this factsheet. Don’t forget to provide evidence that you have successfully completed your training, and the remittance.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
These qualifications can be built upon to add further units and so present an excellent opportunity for Continuing Professional Development.As they areregistered on the national Qualifications Credit Framework (QCF) they arereadily recognised by civilian organisations.
