Notes

1.  Names for Rallies must be given to Mary Elder, Chief Instructor, at least 10 days before the date of the Rally to ensure rides can be made up and Instructors booked. Times will be emailed out the Thursday prior to the Rally. It is very important that names are given in time to ensure riders are in their appropriate rides.

2.  Stable management will be held at rallies.

3.  PC Progressive Tests – names to Mary Elder if you would like to sit a test.

See National Pony Club website for test cards, or ask Mary if you are unsure which test you should be sitting.

4.  Hallowe’en Gymkhana – there will be 2 jumping classes, games and fancy dress - £10 for the day. Please give names to Liz by 8 October.

5.  Visiting Instructors -Forms will be available to download from the website and returned with appropriate payment to Mary Elder, 7 Morven Place, Thurso KW14 8HU by the date stated on forms. No phone or text messages will be accepted.

6.  Show jumping Leagues - This year some jumping leagues will be split.

·  On the Saturday, there will be a rally for the younger ones followed by the jumping league starting at lead rein to 70cms.

·  On the Sunday the jumps will start again at 70cms – 1m. This will then be followed by a rally for older riders.

·  Heights will be LR 30 cm, 40 cm, 50 cm, 60 cm, 70 cm, 80 cm, 90 cm and 1 m.

·  40 cm can be assisted- run at shoulder.

·  You may enter 2 consecutive heights.

·  Entry fee – PC members £2.50 per class, non PC members £4 per class.

7.  Christmas Show – further details will be e-mailed out to members nearer the time.

8.  Le Trec – This will be a fun day followed by a light hearted competition. There will be a series of challenges and obstacles for you and your pony. Contact Linda for more information.

9.  Quiz – training will start on Monday 14th November at 7pm- approx. 8.30 pm at Claire Polson’s house. Great way to learn for fun, or tests, even if you don’t want to be in the team. Please contact Claire for more details on 01955 604585 or mobile 07918 529 357
