ChiralQuest is a rapid-growing technology-based specialty chemical company dedicated to provide chemical process R & D, and commercial manufacturing of pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs. We operate research and manufacturing facilities both in the United States and China. We are building a state-of-art research and pilot facility and now have the following openings for the following positions in Suzhou, China.
VP– Process research and development, Chiral Quest (Suzhou) Ltd, Report to VP of R& D, Chiral Quest USA
Location: Chiral Quest (Suzhou) Ltd. located in Suzhou industrial Park (Suzhou Biobay)
Requirements: Fluent English, Fluent Mandarin Chinese. Several years operational experience in managing a fine chemicals or pharmaceutical manufacturing organization. Degree in chemistry or chemical engineering (advanced degree preferred). Frequent visits to US headquarters in Princeton, NJ will be required.
Ph.D. in organic chemistry with 5+ years of experience and a track record of accomplishment in process chemistry. The selected candidate will lead a group of process chemists to work on the process design, optimization and scale-up in the GMP plant. Significant leadership experience in an industry environment and good project management skills will be required.
Associate Director/Director/Senior Director– Analytical Research and Development
Ph.D. in analytical chemistry or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant industry experience in small molecule pharmaceutical analysis. The selected candidate will be responsible for analytical method development, method validation, and all QC related functions. Must have hands-on knowledge of analytical HPLC, GC, and LC-MS/GC-MS. Must possess good communication skills and be willing to lead a group. A strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA and ICH guidelines is essential.
Associate Director/Director/Senior Director– Engineering and Pilot Plant Operations
Advanced degree in chemical engineering or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or chemical industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction of our Suzhou pilot facility, acquiring and installing process equipment, and implementing projects for manufacture of APIs and intermediates. Must have hands-on knowledge of chemical operations equipment and manufacturing operations. Must have experience in developing and maintaining IQ/OQ/PQ documents and generating various reports such as batch records, PFD, process safety assessment, energy/material balances, and cost analysis. Working knowledge in cGMP is preferred.
Associate Director/Director/Senior Director– Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance
Advanced degree in sciences with 3+ years of relevant industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for QA functions to support GMP manufacturing and regulatory filings.
