Go S. ½ mile from Exit on Rte 13, turn left on Roberts St, High School is on left.
The Mohawk Valley International Wrestling Festival is a major wrestling event held annually in New York State. The festival showcases both Freestyle and Greco Roman Wrestling.
Canadian and other International teams may be participating. This is a festival celebrating wrestling, allowing participants to compete both days under modified Festival Rules.
FILA International rules with USA modifications and USA weight classes.
There is a maximum of 16 wrestlers in each weight class. Weight classes that have more than 16 wrestlers entered will be split into 2 separate classes each with its own tournament champion.
Junior Division will recognize USA restrictions. Wrestlers in grades 9-12 in High School

PARTICIPANT’S WAIVER AND RELEASE
In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in USA Wrestling’s athletic/sports program and related events and activities, the undersigned:
A. Agree that prior to participating, they each will inspect the facilities and equipment to be used, and if they believe anything to be unsafe will immediately advise their coach or supervisor of such condition(s) and refuse to participate.
B. Acknowledge and fully understand that each participant will be engaging in activities that involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability and death, and severe social and economic losses which might result not only from their own actions, inactions or negligence’s, but the actions, inactions or negligence’s of others, the rules of play, or the condition of the premises or of any equipment used. Further, that there may be other risks not known to us or not reasonably foreseeable at this time.
C. Assume all the forgoing risks and accept personal responsibility for the damages following such injury, permanent disability or death.
D. Release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue USA Wrestling, its affiliated clubs, their respective administrators, directors, agents, coaches, and other employees of the organization, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable owners and leasers of premises used to conduct the event, all of which hereinafter referred to as “releasees”, from any and all liability to the undersigned, his or her heirs and next of kin, for any and all claims, demands, losses or damages on account of injury, including death or damage to property, caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise.
