Read, sign, and return by the August 13, 2015
1. Enter the classroom quietly and be seated in your assigned seat before the tardy bell rings. If not seated at this time, you will be tardy and must go directly to the office and get an admit slip to class.
2. Go to the restroom and get water before coming to class.
3. Do not bring food, drink (any kind), candy, or gum in the classroom at any time.
4. Bring all materials to class every day (handouts, notes, notebook paper, pencils/pens).
5. Make up any missing work that resulted from a school absence. It is your responsibility to find out what was missed so a time can be scheduled for make-up. You must make up work within three days of returning to school. (MUST HAVE TEACHER PERMISSION TO MAKE UP COMPUTER ASSIGNMENTS AT HOME)
6. Place all personal items on the floor under your table or on the floor at the front of the classroom and leave them there until class is over. This includes purses. Book bags must be placed on the floor at the front of the classroom. Remember to take them with you when you leave the classroom.
7. Do not bring disks/CDs/flash drives into the computer lab. This is a violation of school policy.
8. Work only in the software program that has been approved by your teacher (no games).
9. Notify the teacher if there is a problem with any piece of equipment. DO NOT attempt to repair it yourself!
10. Stop working at the end of class only when told to do so by the teacher.
11. Continue working quietly when a visitor enters the room. If you have a question, wait until the visitor has left the room to ask it.
12. Be alert and ready to work each day. NO putting your head down on the desk. If you are too sick to sit up, you need to go home.
13. Submit your assignments on the due date assigned by the teacher. If an assignment is late, three points (3) will be deducted for the first day it is late; five points (5) for the second day it is late. After the second day, no credit will be given. To receive credit for any assignment completed on a classroom computer, it must be saved in your folder with the correct file name.
14. The Internet is a privilege and misuse or using it without permission will result in disciplinary action. Students cannot check home e-mail or social media from a school computer.
15. Clean up around your work area and place chair under the table before leaving the classroom.
