#NYFW17 PHOTO COMPETITION

Supported by HOPS recruitment

This National Young Farmers’ Week (#NYFW17) we are hosting a massive photo competition and we want all our YFCs to get involved.

Judged by Chris Stark from BBC Radio 1 and NFYFC’s President Charlotte Smith, we are asking all our clubs to take a selfie in their club shirts that would encourage someone to join your club.

The judges want to see just how amazing our clubs are and will choose a winner based on the YFC they would most want to join after seeing your photos.

Thanks to HOPS Recruitment, the winners will win a digital camera, with video functionality, for their YFC to help them promote events even more!

How to enter:

Seven easy steps to taking part:

1. Get your YFC together and discuss how you can make your photo stand out.

2. Use props, costumes, scenery, a stunning background - whatever it takes to make your YFC look like an excit-ing club to join!

3. Sort out a selfie stick or ask one of your YFC members to take the photo of your YFC.

4. Post your finished photo on social media any day between 18-24 September. You must tag NFYFC and HOPS on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. Please note HOPS aren’t on Instagram so just use #HopsRecruitment and tag NFYFC.

5. Use the hashtag #yfcforlife in your post and #NYFW17.

6. All the photos we collect will be sent to Chris Stark from BBC Radio 1 and NFYFC President Charlotte Smith who will judge the entries and choose a winner!

7. The winning club will receive a digital camera, courtesy of HOPS Recruitment.

HOPS is the commercial trading arm of NFYFC, based at Stoneleigh Park. Although HOPS is totally autonomous from YFC on a day to day basis, the shares are held by the Trustees of the federation and the business is run by the HOPS board and management team reporting to the Trustees.
The business was split from NFYFC in 2010 and has never looked back, having four divisions;
  • HOPS Labour – Supplying temporary seasonal labour into production horticulture and agriculture.
  • HOPS Recruitment – Agricultural and Horticultural Jobs, from Tractor drivers to Stockmen.
  • HOPS Executive – Executive agricultural and horticultural recruitment.
  • HOPS Education – Providing agricultural apprenticeships.
HOPS is very proud of its association with the National Federation of Young Farmers, and is aiming at being an all encompassing career vehicle for the agri-business sector starting at seasonal (harvest) jobs for college students and agricultural apprenticeships, through to professional appointments at the highest level in the food industry..
