Kevin J. Walsh
Partner
Kevin Walsh is a member of the firm's Business Law Practice Group. In his practice, Kevin partners with his clients to help them create new value in their businesses. He concentrates his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, private equity, early-stage and emerging growth companies, equity and debt financing, crowdfunding, and general business counseling.
Kevin represents public and private companies in a variety of industries in a wide range of business transactions, including both financial and strategic buyers and sellers in acquisitions and divestitures; issuers and private equity and angel investors in equity offerings; and lenders and borrowers in secured and unsecured credit facilities. Kevin also represents his clients in business entity formations, joint ventures and intellectual property licensing. He drafts and negotiates transaction documents for asset purchases, securities purchases, divestitures, mergers, and partnering transactions, as well as preferred stock offering documents, subscription packages and other investment documents for early-stage and emerging growth companies. He also advises his clients with respect to federal securities laws compliance and corporate governance issues. Kevin has written and presented extensively on crowdfunding.
