Renton Technical College NURS 202
Power Point Project / Cardiac Winter 2011
1. You are to work with your assigned groups to complete this project. All group members should equally participate in this project to experience maximum learning. All group members should expect to field questions and explain material included on their slides.
2. Each group is to develop power point slides related to the assigned topic. The slides will be submitted to me via email. I will post the slides on QUIA. These are the power point slides that the class will use for this chapter.
3. This assignment is worth 3 homework points to each student. The credit is all or nothing. To receive credit you must meet the following criteria:
1. No spelling or wrong word usage errors (Don’t write “plane” if you mean “plan”)
2. Provide an APA format reference slide at the end of the presentation
3. Key points are in bullet or short sentence form. NO long sentences or paragraphs. In
your own words as much as possible (paraphrasing).
If you stick to these criteria you will automatically receive 3 points. If you commit any errors of the nature described above and do not follow this criteria you receive NO credit (zero points). There is no partial credit on this assignment (You get a 3 or a 0). Don’t get anxious. It is very easy to get the points. Just follow the criteria. Any questions just ask me.
4. The slides will be due via EMAIL no later than Jan. 19 @ 0800. This will give me time to download them and post them on QUIA so that we will be able to use them for class the week of Jan. 24.
5. Have fun with this. Be creative. You are not limited to your textbook as a resource. However, if you do use another source it must be included on your Reference page (APA format of course). Please include the names of your group members on the opening page.
Below are the topics that each group will cover.
