International Business Awards is a prestigious awards program that recognizes outstanding achievements of companies and individuals from all over the globe. Winners are granted extraordinary trophies – Stevie statuettes, known as the ‘business world’s Oscars’. The competition covers many different disciplines – management, HR, marketing, products, customer service, IT, etc. International jury consists of over 200 world-class experts.

In the recent, twelfth edition of IBA Idea Bank has scooped as many as five awards. It was granted a gold trophy and announced as Europe’s ‘Most Innovative Company of the Year’. This success could not have happened if it was not for DominikFajbusiewicz, Idea Bank board member, whose revolutionary ideas granted him a Silver Stevie and the ‘Innovator of the Year’ title. Fajbusiewicz is a graduate of Poznań University of Economics and MBA studies at the Nottingham Trent University (UK). He is also a co-founder of many prestigious financial brands such as Open Finance, Noble Bank, Idea Bank, Tax Care, and Home Broker. Earlier this month he was recognized as the ‘Innovator of the Year’ in the 2015 Best in Biz awards (for his cutting edge approach to marketing), and in 2014 he was named ‘Man of the Year’ by Brief Magazine.

It was DominikFajbusiewicz that put forward the concepts of all three solutions awarded with Stevies in the financial services category. The gold trophy was granted to the bank for Idea Cloud, the world’s first banking cloud integrated with an accounting system. One silver award went to the bank for Idea Hub – a bank branch providing entrepreneurs with a comfortable co-working space and bookable conference rooms. Idea Bank has also scooped silver for Mobile ATM, a specially designed vehicle that can be summoned via a dedicated mobile app and used to deposit daily income – in a convenient and secure way.

The fact that we have managed to distinguish ourselves once again in a significant international awards program makes me proud. It is not only that we’re innovative, that we have an unorthodox approach to business. It’s more about Idea Bank being supportive, solving entrepreneurs’ problems and helping them run their companies’– offers DominikFajbusiewicz, 2015 IBA winner.

In this year’s edition IBA received 3700 submissions from over 60 countries and territories. The official awards ceremony will take place on 23 October in Toronto.
