Pair students to compile a list of all they know about staging, conducting an event and cleaning up after the event.
Guided Practice:
In small groups create timelines for an event including staging, conducting and cleanup. A combination of individual work and close observation by the teacher and short segments of individual or whole class instruction is used to create the timelines.
Checklist and Buzz Session:
Students will break into small groups and develop a checklist for the jobs/task on a timeline in a buzz sessions.
Instruction Booklet:
Develop booklets from the Checklist and Buzz Session to be used to conduct future events.
Instruction Booklet:
Include tips in the Instruction Booklet to keep the projects on schedule. / Paper or Chrome book to create list.
