EVALUATION - SPRING - 2001

This evaluation will follow the adopted attached job description. Ratings are made for each area according to the Evaluation for Educational Support Personnel Criteria.

1. Unlock doors as instructed by building principal.

2. Plans and oversees all maintenance and repair work,

maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness and

efficiency.

3. Maintain buildings and grounds (must be able to lift 50-70

pounds.)

4. Maintain cafeteria eating area during all lunch periods;

set up and break down of lunchroom tables.

Rate:

5. Maintains an inventory and recommends purchase of suitable

supplies.

6. Submit a list of needed cleansing supplies to Maintenance

Engineer. Dispense supplies as requested by other

custodians.

Rate:

7. Check equipment for maintenance and repair.

Rate:

8. Make minor repairs to building and report major repairs

needed.

Rate:

9. Helps in the selection, assignment scheduling and training

of members of the custodial staff.

Rate:

10. Evaluates the performance of the custodial staff on a

regular basis.

11. Check work of evening employees.

Rate:

12. Supervise summer cleaning activities.

Rate:

13. Perform routine custodial duties.

Rate:

14. Replace consumable items as may be necessary (toilet paper,

paper towels, soap dispenser, etc.)

15. Report maintenance problems to Maintenance Engineer.

Rate:

16. Regulates heat, ventilation and air conditioning systems to

provide temperatures appropriate to the season and to insure

economical usage of fuel, water and electricity.

17. Shovels, plows and sands walks, steps as needed.

18. Raises the flag each morning at 7:00 a.m.

19. Sweeps and mops corridors each morning.

Rate:

20. Wash all windows as scheduled necessary.

21. Keep the grounds free from rubbish.

22. Cut and trim grass.

Rate:

23. Remains on school premises during and after school hours

when building has been authorized for attendance,

as required by the principal.

24. Strives constantly to promote the safety, health and comfort

of the students and employees.

25. Perform other duties as assigned.
